Schools 

 

 To help the Haitian people become independent, they will need to be able to support themselves. To support themselves, they will need to be educated. We plan on opening schools that will provide people with an education that, in turn, will provide them with a means of support.


 Sea School

We are entering into a relationship with an established, accredited marine learning center to offer courses that will put our students in a position where they can find employment on the water. Programs offered will include studies for entry level positions all the way up to Master licenses. Students that successfully complete their studies with us will then be able to take their examination that will secure the license that will be the path to their future. Once students have been accredited, our employment agency will help secure employment. Students will have the unique opportunity to augment their studies with hands on experience aboard one of our vessels, such as the ex USCG cutter M/V Rum Cay Grace.

English Language School 

English is the business language of the world therefore anybody that wishes to participate in the business world needs to be able to speak in English. We intend to offer the opportunity to learn English in a classroom setting. Graduates of our program will be able to hold a conversation in English and fill out a job application, among other things.

 Construction School

Due to the tremendous amount of damage to property following the earthquake, Haiti will be spending the next decade, or more, rebuilding itself. This will provide an opportunity for employment to a lot of people. As Haiti rebuilds, new and tougher building codes will be implemented. Our trade school will teach methods and building practices that are standard throughout the world. Our students will have an edge when applying for construction positions as they will already be familiar with the new standards. Besides classroom study, there will also be onsite job training and job placement for successful graduates.
